In 1940 , a department store type facility was started to be operated at Ulus Wholesales Market, ventured by Nuh - Ahmet Eskiyapan brothers and Kemal Yurtbilir. As such type of stores were rather rare at those times, as well as due to such services provided, it assumed within short notice a lively position, where government hierarchy shopped from as well. Since up to 6 tons of macaroni were being sold, the idea to produce such macaroni evolved. . First manufacturing premises were founded at Ulus Rüzgarlı Sokak in 1950. Production started with an initial capacity of 6 tons turned out to fall short upon increasing demand, and alternative productions sites were sought for.
As in time the site of production was no longer compatible with the capacity, it was decided in 1955 to erect a trade-of-the-art manufacturing plant over the plot of land purchased at İskitler.

Such facility commencing its production in 1956 with a daily capacity of 20 tons was inaugurated by a select group including the President of the day, The Prime Minister, Minister of Trade, Minister of Finance, as well as such other senior bureaucrats. Production under the brand name "Ankara Makarna" was converted into "Nuh’un Ankara Makarnası" in 1961 as a tribute to the memory of Nuh ESKİYAPAN, a member of the founding team.
In 1963, production capacity was increased to daily 25 tons, while product assortment was also enhanced, and manufacturing was proceed with under varying molds and patterns. By means of such technological investments ventured in 1965, the capacity was increased to 30 tons/day, while at the same time Nuh’un Ankara Makarnası assumed the position of Turkey’s Premium quality macaroni manufacturer.
As it became unavoidable to shift production to new locations as a consequence of rapid growth and urbanization, at Sincan Organized Industrial Complex a sophisticated manufactured facility was commissioned over a land plot of 46.000 square meters. Thereby, largest installed capacity in Turkey was achieved.
Today, Nuh’un Ankara Makarnası is amongst the largest and most advanced manufacturing facilities of its sector worldwide. Under its manufacturing facilities at Sincan, monthly 16.000 tons of semolina for pasta as well as 15.600 tons of macaroni are currently being produced. Further, Fexo Printhouse meeting some 80% of its annual external packaging material requirement is likewise ongoing with its operations. Brands manufactured by Nuh’un Ankara Makarnası are exported to several countries, assuming a well-deserved position amongst reputable brands worldwide. Under the brand name Veronelli, Nuh’un Ankara Makarnası produced as a pioneer in Turkey the first ready-to-serve macaroni including self dressing. At present, production is continued under such brands as Classic, With Vitamin , With Vegetable, With Bran and Veronelli . Nuh’un Ankara Makarnası San. Tic. A.S. is persisting with its activities in Turkey as a competent and professional entity of its sector, transferring macaroni culture to our country equipped with advanced technology and sophisticated scientific methods as well as by means of its well-educated and highly experienced staff.
